Disclaimer: my apologies for the volume and interference. We, as a group, just finish the book of Amos and learned about the judgement of God upon the nations for their sin. Also, we gathered that we, in 2022, are being judged by God. The next step in the reformation of His people, the Lord has taken us back to the foundation. Taken us back to our first love-where is began. Can we look at this as a “reset” of the church? By going back to the principal things, it could be a reset for those who have lost their way. But most importantly, it is a firm foundation for those who are new to the faith. This, we will learn how we are to conduct ourselves in the church as leaders and followers. Paul charges Timothy to silence false teachers in the church at Ephesus. Timothy is urged to use the gifts stirred up in him by the elders and stand his ground for the truth of the gospel. Timothy is young; however, God has given him what is required to do the task.
